Stat based men's tennis articlesContact - Message me with this contact form. All feedback, comments, questions etcetera are welcome. Thanks - I have many people to thank for helping me with my statistics, writing and website in general. First and foremost I would like to thank Julian, my brother, as he has made StatRacket possible. He wrote the initial site code and even helped with design and content. He is a very talented computer graphics expert and you can check out his website at jxmallett.com. I would also like to thank my friend Mark Tayar who helped me get more visitors to my site.
A massive thanks to everyone who visited StatRacket! The feedback I received was very much appreciated and often gave me a lift when I was sorting through statistics. A special thanks to all the people who kindly (and even routinely) pointed out errors in my statistics. I would also like to thank Joca for gathering so many detailed statistics for our Masters1000 analysis. Thanks to Malcolm Utley for organising a trip to the Australian Open in 2010, you can read about my three fantastic days at Melbourne Park here. I also have Malcolm to thank for the many quality photos of the Australian Open in 2009 and 2010 he sent me and I have added to the site. Malcolm is an artist and you can check out his work here. I would also like to send big thanks to all my family and friends for your support and ideas. Finally, thanks to Asher Esakoff and the team of the now deceased TheBigTip. I enjoyed being the tennis sub-editor of your website in 2011; a role which led to my media accredidation into the Apia International Sydney tennis tournament in 2012. About Me - I was born in Canberra in 1984 and have spent most of my life here in the nation's capital. I obviously have tremendous passion for tennis and numbers and am very lucky to be able to combine the two in writing tennis articles. After working in statistics for a few years, I became a tutor at the ANU where I completed a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies in 2008. I have now decided to become a high school maths teacher and have gone back to study education. I am a rather quiet person with a few quirks. I have had some health problems including diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder. I love to get active and even taught myself to play tennis left handed after I needed multiple surgeries on my right arm. I continue to play left handed and enter local tournaments now and then. And yes, my favourite player ever is Carlos Moya. Thanks for visiting this site and I hope you enjoy my articles. |
